First Painting Sold!

Sometime in Sept my husband chanced upon a notice in the Starbucks right opposite my work place when he came to pick me up, that said that they were looking for art to display. I was exhausted and had no enthusiasm to put up my paintings, but he pushed me to do it and helped me. So I ended up putting up five of them there. The store manager asked me to put up prices too, and I just did, not expecting any to sell, especially with the current economy, etc.

A month passed and I received an email from the barrista requesting me to collect my work back since my one month for featuring my work was over. I was going to pick it up, and the very next day, I got another email that someone was interested in buying one of the pieces! It was quite a surprise!

So I ended up selling the Flamenco piece this last Saturday!

Boundless Joy

Just wanted to share the news that my son was born 9/29/2009, making me a first time mom! I am enjoying the challenges and joys of parenting, but will try and blog as and when time permits...
