Catching a prey or moving towards it...Intriguing!

You've done a great job painting the tiger's expression :)... intently concentrating on it's victim.

Its been long since we crossed paths. But I saw this pic on your orkut profile and had to comment, couldnt leave a comment. This is really good. I knew you painted well, but this is just super wow...the face looks so real. What paint/material did you use?

Hi Supriya, were you in VT? I am not sure where we "crossed each others' paths" :-) Thanks very much for stopping by and leaving a comment. I used acrylic paints for this one. :)

This work is stunning! As many people have pointed out you have done a terrific job capturing the intensity of the tiger's looks. I love the swirl of the water too. Great job!

Very neat. The tiger's quite lifelike. Reminds me of an old Messerschmitt BF 109G in North Africa camouflage. Deadly, sinister and hidden. Quick as a cat, literally.

Wow! Indeed brilliant portrayal of anger!
A digression: That would be the expression of the 'tigerkind' towards mankind, I bet! The beginning of the century had 1,00,000 wild tigers and there are less than 2,500 left now. 3 out of 9 subspecies have been wiped out of the face of the earth! Anger is natural!
