Journey

These are collages of some of my favourite pictures of my cherished vacation in Europe in the past two or so weeks. It was a journey in so many different dimensions. For one, it was a journey in time, parts of it being glimpses into the Renaissance period. Further, it was a linguistic journey of sorts. I simply loved communicating with the locals in Italy. I don't know the language, and found some interesting etymological connections not only with Latin roots and English but also to some Indic languages, and so I was able to comprehend what I heard sometimes- this was interesting. And of course, it was a cultural journey.

One thing I forgot to mention is that the first collage is from Italy and the second (BW) is from France.
