What's an Artsi Hum?
A scramble of 'Sumithra', its inventor (yours humbly), Artsi Hum is a form of verse in which a group of words at the beginning of every line is a scramble (anagram) of a group of words at the end of the same line. There are no constraints on the number of words in each group. There are no constraints on the number of lines in the verse or in the way lines are grouped into stanzas.
The scrambled pairs are highlighted.
Flowers
[Artsi hum...]
Roses, scarlet roses, to heal many a hearts' sores,
A lilly, sparkling lilly, to brighten many that lay ill.
Bouquets in the scores to bedeck stores 'n boutiques,
Tulip-Daisy pails for all so the dim day is lit up!
