Black Like Me

'Black Like Me' by John Howard Griffin is an intelligent, sensitive autobiographical narration of a Southerner about the prevailing racism in the late fifties-sixties. It is an account of an interesting and daring sociological experiment conducted by the author for a period of seven weeks.
I don't want to give away the most interesting detail by revealing what the experiment was. Good (and quick) read, and I recommend it.
