Some time in the last few months a realization dawned on me. To be happy, one needs to feel (strongly) entitled to happiness. Although on the face of it it seems truistic, this is a powerful truth.
And today when I see all the unrest and uprise in the parts of the world that have been suffering for many generations (yes, I mean Tunisia, Egypt and the whole Arab world), I feel like they have joined hands with me and I have joined hands with them.
It is quite an uplifting experience to see the inner and the outer worlds converging and expanding horizons through the realization of the same simple, beautiful truth.
