I wish I could disappear temporarily, magically by some voodoo or a concoction... I wish I had the ability to fly above everything on the face of this earth - above the land, the seas, the volcanoes, the people, the grass, the glass, the plastic, the junk, the sophistication... and above ambitions, hopes, disappointments, blame, guilt... and above ties, judgements, chess games, drudgery, fun, amusement, entertainment... and above the cities, the villages, the parks, the playgrounds, the history, the wars, the love stories, the civilizations, the arts, the games... and above language, sound, melody, cacophony, beauty, obscenity, mundaneness, filth... and above reasoning, intellect, knowledge, quest, exhaustion...
I want for a second to fly up, soar up very rapidly and then just stay up there for a while among the clouds, and drift and float, with nothing to go after, no aim, no purpose, no feeling. And I
want a remote- a remote with a mute button. I want no sound, no thought, no emotion.
Drenched in emptiness, I want to simply look on...

oh for eternal peace....that's what you ask for. We need to shut our minds first..tooooooo many thoughts only. Your mute button for every thing will work if you have a mute button for the mind. ;-)

Firstly, do we really need to fly high and be in the clouds? Even the atmosphere is polluted..
what you are looking for is to completely shut out of the worldly stuff. i hope i understand what you had tried to convey...
Hope that everyone in this world turns out to be that way.. no one will ever get anxious about anything.. It will be a free place to live and let live..
we wont earn tons of money and deposit in our bank accounts..
The insecurity of the future will not exist..
Every fellow human being will be your friend..
Every fellow human being will be you relative..
Everyone's pain will be ours..
We will cry and laugh for others..
Thats when all of these which you have asked for will be possible and on EARTH!!!

Yeah what you said made sense.
At the time I wrote it I was wishing deeply that my mind was 'empty' for a bit. I just wanted to feel light. So yes, cutting off from wordliness was definitely an intended point, but the thought was not focused on laughing/crying for other fellow human beings (right in this piece, but I relate to what you say); rather, the thought was focused on the wish to not laugh or cry and just be 'still' if you can call it that. I wrote it at a time when I realized how much neural energy we spend on things everyday in our life due to our attachments and the roots we have developed.
