This is a makeover of my older work
Krishna. I had mentioned in the
earlier post that I was not really happy with how the painting had turned out and that the concept was of greater importance :-).
Anyway, I redid it tonight, and now, please do not tell me that it looked better earlier (just kidding :-) , tell me exactly what you think) .

I like both! The previous one is more fiery depicting a more passionate Krishna, this one is calm, balanced, depicting a serene Krishna :)
I think the previous one has more heat/fire to it. It could be the less white in the "fire" part of the picture. Though I think the strokes have come out much more beautifully in this one than the one before. In the previous one the fire lines have a confined/contained feel, this one is more real in that sense.
P.S. I am a regular visitor of your art now. i wish I could find the time to paint something.
thanks for ur comments both! :)
Supriya, I know exactly what you mean about the strokes. I was also happy with the more 'spread out' feel of this one.
Hope you're able to make time to paint. :-)
I liked the previous one for its brightness but yeah this one does show the brush strokes well which gives it a better feather look. Nice work.
P.S I opened both pics on two monitors, side by side and yet the earlier one grab my attention, especially the map.
thanks for your comment Perception! :-)
I think i liked the earlier one! But the concept is very creative. Very, very creative and the makeover doesn't really affect that.
