How Rain Is Made

My four year old once asked me "Where does rain come from?" and this was the story I told him about how rain is made:

"Clouds are like huge water balloons. They have a lot of water inside them. And when birds fly, sometimes they poke the clouds with their beaks, and the water pours down. And we call it rain."

Sometimes he repeats it. He says "The bird flies in the sky, and the cloud goes 'puck' and the rain falls down!" And now he has started asking me, "Why do birds 'puck' the clouds?" :-)

Anyway, I decided to illustrate the story of how rain is made for him.

For you, baby, may you always live with wonder and imagination!
